Adding drives to a pool

What is a drive pool without any drives? Once a pool has been created, you will need to add drives to the pool. Open the drives dashboard, then “Add a new drive”. Alternatively you can select an existing drive from the list of drives available in the dashboard.
Important - If the drive being added to the pool contains files, and you want those files to appear in the pool, you will need to ensure the merge option (first option) is selected.

"Merge the existing files" will merge the existing files that have been detected on the drive being added to the pool.
“Enable drive volume renaming” will rename the drive to a name that identifies it as a Drive Bender pooled drive.
"Manage drive letters" will allow Drive Bender to remove the drive letter assigned to this drive by Windows.
“Format the hard drive” will format the drive prior to adding it to the pool. Important - Doing this will result in any files on the drive being lost.
