Creating a mount point (drive letter or network share)

Next we need to provide a way to access the pool instance. We do this by creating a mount point. Select the mounts dashboard, then “Add a mount point”.
 
 
Here you to create two types of mount points.
1)     Drive letter mount point: This is a mount point that appears as a logical drive on the system. For the most part this is the type recommended as it allows for Windows network shares to be created and managed via Windows.
2)     Networked mount point: This is a mount point that appears on the network. It should be noted that the current version of Drive Bender does not support share permission on this type of mount point (although you can lock for the underlying folders using permissions).
The last option is file duplication. Select this to have all files duplicated on this mount point. You can leave this unchecked and later (via duplication management) you can set the duplication with much more resolution.
