Repair a pool

The most common issue with a pool, is a failed hard drive. When this happens, Drive Bender enters a state known as fault tolerant mode. While in the mode, all mount points for that pool will go into a read only state. This is done to preserve any data within the pool, however the pool is still readable and any file that was duplicated prior to this failure will appear within the pool as it would normally.

When a drive has failed, the first course of action is to determine if this is a terminal failure (i.e. the drive cannot put back into the pool) and, if so it should be removed.

Repair pool (pool dashboard, under advanced settings)
Before connecting any new drives to the pool, the pool needs to be repaired. To do so simply select the pool dashboard, then select "Show advanced options". From here select the "Repair pool" option and follow the prompts.

During this operation, any duplicated file that is found to have a missing primary file is moved from its duplicated folder, to the primary folder, once this is done the pool will be validated and the failed drives reference is removed from the pool. Drive Bender will then re-duplicate all required files over time. Depending on the number of duplicated files that need to be restored, this may take some time to complete.
